A Church with a Passion for His Purpose

Our motto for the student ministry here at First Baptist Clanton is as follows, "We are saved BY Jesus to serve LIKE Jesus." This means that we do not want our students to be satisfied with being consumers. Instead, students are challenged to serve God by serving the church, the community, and the world. The student ministry consists of students grades 6th-12th that come from all different backgrounds, but come with one focus, which is advancing the gospel in the community and the world. To see this happen, our adult leaders make disciples of our students, who will then go out and make disciples.

Our weekly schedule is as follows:

Sunday Mornings - 9:30AM - Sunday School- Our mission for Sunday School is to create a small group setting where students go deeper in their love for Jesus and serve others as a result. We have four classes: middle school boys and girls and high school boys and girls. Each class has one full-time teacher in order to build trust and provide consistency for students.

Sunday Nights - 6:00PM - There is an evening worship service. After the service we have SNAC, which stands for Sunday Nights After Church. The purpose of SNAC is for the student pastor and his wife, Ashley, to build deeper relationships with the students. SNAC ends promptly at 8:30PM.

Wednesday Nights - LIFEFORCE - 6:30PM-8PM - LifeForce is designed for students to grower closer to God and each other through worship, teaching, and break-out groups.
